About this product
When your toddler starts pulling up and cruising, keeping them safe without blocking off the whole house becomes the priority. These twin safety gates fit at doorways or the top of stairs to create safe zones where they can explore freely. The gates swing open in either direction with one hand (helpful when you're carrying a wriggling child or a basket of washing). No trip bars along the bottom means you won't stumble through with your hands full. Quick release fittings let you take them down when visitors come or you need the space back.
The screw fit installation keeps them secure and stable at doorways or stair landings. Double locking mechanism means they stay firmly shut until you're ready to open them, and the one handed operation lets you pass through smoothly even when your arms are occupied. Stop pins are included for safe mounting at the top of stairs, preventing the gate from swinging open over the steps. The wide walk through section gives you plenty of clearance without squeezing past. Suitable for children up to 24 months.

Made in Denmark!
These safety gates look well-made, which can be expected from Denmark. The lock/unlock mechanism seems simple to operate for an adult and there is no bar to trip over. We are putting these on our staircase and have to make some adjustments to make them work, but that is unavoidable and not the fault of the product. It will be good to know the stairs are not a hazard to my baby. They will be quite rigid and resistant to toddler strength.

Baby Dan baby gates
Bought this the other week, very flimsy had to reinforce one with wood. The other one in the pack had missing piece (the hook) so cannot put it up at all. Spoke to someone and they said they don’t do spare parts for it and cannot return as chucked the box out so waste of money

This BabyDan No Trip Safety Gate does need to be wall mounted, using the screws provided, to fasten it to the wall or door frame.

There are various types of safety gate to help with the safety of babies/toddlers/children etc.

“ BabyDan No Trip Safety Gate can be screwed into a wooden bannister.
All our safety gates are supplied with screws suitable for mounting in wood.
If the customer has a different type of wall, additional screws suitable for the purpose must be purchased. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BabyDan No Trip Safety Gate - Twin Pack: ''The no trip gate is a wall fixed gate so the opening is pretty much (give a cm or 2) the same width as the door. Its just small hinges you would apply to the door frame.''

"If mounting onto brick it may be necessary to mount a wooden batten on the wall"

Yes. There's a clip at the top which can be removed so the whole gate lifts up, leaving the wall fixings in place

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know the 4 fittings in the corners of the No Trip metal safety gate can be used to adjust the width of the gate from 72 cm - 78.5 cm.
The wall fittings have to be right opposite each other or the gate can’t close.
