It works well, we use this to cook rice everyday. Even thought this product is not the best to keep warm for the cooked rice, it is totally fine to cook rice and keep them frozen in the freezer.

I can advise the following for the Cookworks 1.5L Rice Cooker - Black:
This rice cooker is best suited to cooking white rice. If using rice
varieties with longer cooking times (e.g. brown rice) add extra
water at the start to prolong the cooking time. Some rice may benefit from stirring towards the end of their
cooking time to prevent burning.
