Great purchase
Really pleased with this hose reel. Its neat, sturdy, and so easy to use and everything you could want in a garden water hose, it has all the attachments and connections you will need tucked away neatly inside the hose reel when you buy it. We bought this hose for the front garden, knowing it would be good as we already have one in the back garden. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed

Great Value
I have been using this product for around 3 weeks and it does exactly what it should. It features great length at 25m, is a strong material, is easy to use with the handle allows you to reel it back in with ease. You are supplied with all the connectors you need to get it set up and attached to your tap. It also offers a quick release off of the hooks in case you want to store it away during the winter for example. My only suggestions would be for a mark to be added on the hose for the amount you need to cut off for the feed from the tap, it is awkward if you are on your own to stretch the hose out and then try and measure it and I think it should be redesigned for the hose feed to be at the bottom and access to change the handle to either side instead of it being permanent once fitted. Overall a great product that should have a long life span + you get 5 years warranty

Hose reel ok, instructions not!
Although pleased with the hose reel now, I was not impressed that it came as a DIY kit ie it has to be assembled and the pictorial instructions are not that helpful. I found a video online which was necessary as following the enclosed leaflet was impossible. Nowhere on the packaging does it say that the hose reel doesn't come assembled.

It’s big!
Once assembled the hose works well. It should be noted though that the reel holder is quite large and it does need some quite complicated assembly before use. All the parts are concealed within the wound hose so the hose needs to be unwound to extract the parts before assembly.

Confusing Instructions, Good Product
I picked this up as I needed a hose extender and hozelock was a brand I recognised. Once set up, the product does exactly what it advertises - it is a 25m retractable hosepipe extension. I'd strongly advise anyone purchasing this product to watch the youtube video instructions on how to construct the thing as the paper instructions included are pretty terrible, and there are a few steps that, once completed, are irreversible without damaging the product. It's not a good start when the first step omits to tell you that you have to completely despool all 25m of hose to continue.... That gripe aside, 5/5 for quality, 4/5 for design purely for the irritating instructions.

Ive since found out you can have the handle on either side but once you choose a side to put it it would be very difficult to change.
