Great value iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never been one for ironing but since receiving this for free from Influenster it’s been used every week! I used it the old fashioned way (on top of the bed) because I don’t have an ironing board yet but it worked very well. Good mid range price with excellent results. And long cable which is great too!

Great basic iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is easy to use and does a relatively good job. It is more on the basic end, so if you are on a budget or you are not fussed about the iron then this is a good option. It has the steam function but you do need quite a bit of water in the tank for it to work effectively. I personally prefer an iron with more steam holes.

Irons well but very heavy
The stainless steel soleplate glides very smoothly in use. It gets creases out quite well. There are some problems with it: it is very heavy; I keep catching the temp. dial with my hand and moving it when I pick the iron up; the cable is a bit short.

It's not suitable for a good ironed shirt
It is absolutely useless, but I blame myself you get what you pay for ,I have used it for a week and it's in the bin

Poor steamer
A replacement for another Russell Hobbs steam iron which just died less than 12 months after purchase. Likewise this is inconsistent in terms of steam delivery. Most of the time it doesn't steam at all and I have to keep using the shot of steam button to get anything. It's as if it's on the 'no steam' setting, though I have definitely set it to full steam. On the whole, not impressed!

Lovely iron to use, very smooth
