The Black & Decker 400 watt Scorpion is a multifunction saw that functions both as a powered handsaw and jigsaw. Ideal for straight line or curved cutting, this power tool has a soft grip handle and can make 5500 strokes per minute. It also includes three different blades for your various DIY needs and a useful safety lock switch.

Good all round electric saw
I bought this to replace my old scorpion. They seem to be very similar (quality often goes down over time). It cut through several large fence easily, so happy with performance.

Great, if you don't need to get a circular saw
Exactly as described which I also checked on the Black & Decker site. Using it to cut through smallish bits of wood to use as kindle for my fire - ideal for 2 x 2 and a bit bigger. I reckon it would also do small logs easily. Either way, it makes life a lot easier than having to use a hand saw. It's also robust but not super heavy and putting in the blades and removing them is very easy and logical.

Works pretty well. Easy to hold. Useful for basic gardening. Not tough enough for any branches thicker than about 10cm diameter.

A good value saw
This saw remains as good as it ever was, cutting wood and plastic with easily leaving a clean edge. I don't think that the price has increased for many years and this offer from Argus, I'm sure is cheaper. Uhh
