About this product
The Habitat Ronnie High Sleeper lifts the sleeping area up high, freeing up floor space underneath for storage, play or a study zone. It's a single bed with a solid wood frame that gives it lasting strength, while wooden slats support the mattress without needing a separate base. It's finished in white, so it'll blend with most bedroom colours and furniture you've already got. The ladder can go on either side, so you can position it to suit your room layout. Suitable for ages six and over, with a maximum user weight of 120kg.
There's a safety rail that rises 32cm above the mattress to keep everyone secure through the night. This one must be fixed to the wall using the brackets provided, that's really important for stability with raised beds. The space underneath is 139.6cm high, giving you plenty of usable height for furniture or play space. Use a mattress up to 16cm deep for safe sleeping. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Not sturdy enough!
The design of the product is nice. However, it’s not sturdy enough and very weakly engineered. Unfortunately, I cannot return because my 6 years old will be very upset. However, if it was bought for another person in the family I would return and ask for a refund.

Lovely bed
Lovely bed which was easy to put together. Seems very sturdy now it’s in use. It definitely needs to be drilled to a wall for stability. There’s a slight creak when climbing the ladder but it’s not overly loud.

Love this high sleeper!
The Ronnie High Sleeper arrived on Saturday and my husband set about building it and then securing it to the wall for our eldest. She adores it! The high height gives her and her sister lots of room to play underneath, whilst the study construction enables them both to hang out on the bed too. We have secured it to the wall at either end for maximum stability, but we are also confident in taking an adults weight too (I've climbed up quite a few times this weekend!). Would thoroughly recommend 👍

Very creaky and not stable
It is a very wobbly and Creaky bed. Attached it to the wall but it makes so much noise when my child moves slightest bit. Really noisy at night!!! Wakes us all up! The bed is nice but it’s not worth the money - too expensive for the material it’s made with. The assembly was very easy - needs two people. Instructions were also very easy to follow,

The ladder can be positioned either side of the bed when assembling. If you decide to change the side the ladder is on, multiple parts including the safety rail, would need to be removed and reassembled too.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Ronnie High Sleeper Single Bed Frame - White.
The height from the floor to the underside of the supports beneath the high sleeper is 63.9 cm. The supports are 8.9 cm wide.
Please be aware that positioning a bunk bed directly next to a window is not considered safe, and several safety guidelines advise against it.

I can advise that the wall fixing for the Habitat Ronnie High Sleeper Single Bed Frame - White is approximately 150cm, which is connected directly beneath the slats of the sleeping area.

I can advise that, if you are building the Habitat Ronnie High Sleeper Single Bed Frame - White in a space that is 205cm, you will need clearance to attach the bolds by using a tool such as a screwdriver or Allen key on either side.
