Bought this Doorbell chime set a few days ago and I am more than happy with it. Perfectly loud enough, and more than enough tunes. The problem was initially with my doorbell push button, but a brand-new one would’ve cost a little over £10, so it was worth just spending a little bit more for a brand new set. My old doorbell only had one chime; this new set has a number of tunes, including Merry Christmas and happy birthday. As it was the same make, the push button from the new set matched exactly in line over the existing holes in my door frame from the previous button, so I was able to screw it on instead of sticking it on the door frame.

Easy to fit.
Very easy to install and set up. The bell press bit seems to be waterproof, it needs to be in the position mine has to be in. Great selection of tunes for the chimes. Very pleased withit.

Brilliant product
This is a great purchase to replace our old doorbell. It can be set very loud which is useful if you have hearing difficulties. The added mobile unit still works at the bottom of our back garden and in all the rooms inside the house. The price was very good and we collected at our local Sainsburys.

The Byron DBY-22354BS wireless doorbell kit requires 1 CR2032 button cell for the bell push and 3 AA batteries for the portable chime; placement is straightforward, ensuring correct polarity.
Bell Push Button Battery Installation
Remove the cap: Locate the small recess at the bottom of the door push. Use a screwdriver to carefully press the catch and lift off the cap
Insert the battery: Place the supplied CR2032 button cell inside the battery holder with the plus (+) side facing up
Replace the cap: Once the battery is in position, snap the cap securely back onto the mounting plate

It uses a CR2032 battery. The life of the battery would depend on the usage and other factors, e.g. brand, quality, etc. so we cannot give a timescale on the lifespan as such.

I bought this and it worked great until I dared to move the plugin speaker the other speaker just uses batteries, now the plugin speaker doesnt work. Probably why its cheap.
