About this product
Essential for safety (one alarm should be on every floor of your home). It has a 10-year sealed-in Lithium battery that lasts the life of the alarm. Easy to install, compact and discreet, it has a handy test and hush button which will silence the alarm if triggerd by mistake. The battery for this product is sealed-in, for the life of the product - very difficult to remove and will last the life of the alarm.
This product is BSI tested and certified to EN14604:2005, CE tested, and is fully tested before leaving the factory.

This was easy to install with screws and rawlplugs provided. According to the packaging it has a 10 year life span, so I'll have to review it again in 10 years time if it lasts that long

I purchased this smoke alarm as Kidde is a really good manufacturer and it is guaranteed for 10 years. It was easy to install and it is especially sensitive to smouldering material, not just flames. If the battery in your Kidde 10 Year Smoke Alarm runs out before the 10-year lifespan, it could be considered faulty.
