I bought this this August self assembled ,assembly need 2 people and bit skill ,didn’t manage to assemble atound 90% but can use 2 lower drawers ,top drawer didn’t fit due some misalignment ,but looks good

Great bit of furniture very spacious
I bought 2 of these last month to go in my spare room to store our shoes in and they are fantastic very spacious and look nice against the wall definitely recommend.

Looks better than IKEA.....
.... but not as easy to put together! Instructions were ok, but not clear which way some of the pieces should be laid or fixed into place. And overall quality is slightly less than IKEA in areas, especially in the fixings for the pull down draws. Not sure how long it'll last till the plastic rollers give up.

Wouldn’t attach the drawers to the frame
Wouldn’t attach with the screws to the sides- same as it looks lovely. Wasted 2 hours of my life building it for it to not be finished and returned

We did,. Yes I would recommend it,otherwise it will topple over .
The back of the unit is fully boarded with a thin board that is pinned to the unit with the small pin nails provided. I have bought brass washers, 18 in the pack, and screws and screwed the board onto the back of the unit, equally spaced left side and right side, for stronger attachment to the unit. I believe that if you wanted to cut a hole in the back of the board, you may do so as the board is very thin. Just be very careful though.

There are no overhang of the top shelf with the back of the unit, the back of the unit is completely flush with the top of the unit.
