About this product
The Lancaster Shoe Storage Cupboard provides a practical spot to keep up to 12 pairs of shoes tucked away and easy to reach. It has two drop-down compartments separating larger shoes from smaller ones. The bottom section holds up to three pairs of larger shoes, up to size ten, while the top fits three pairs of smaller shoes, up to size six. Soft, flexible footwear works best, keeping things neat without stressing the mechanism. A top drawer adds storage for polish, laces or bits and bobs, and the surface provides space for keys, a lamp, or a photo frame.
The freestanding design fits neatly against hallway or bedroom walls without taking up too much floor space. The drop-down doors open smoothly and keep shoes out of sight, reducing clutter in busy areas. The cream finish works with most interiors and keeps things looking tidy. Self-assembly is straightforward with two people, and all fixings are included. Wall attachment is required for safety, as the unit stands over 60 centimetres high, and fixings are provided to secure it in place.

Beautiful Shoe Cabinet!
I bought this shoe cabinet and it was delivered promptly. It was quite easy to set up except for one screw that couldn't properly fit in. This cabinet fit perfectly into the space designated for it in my home and the colors add beauty to that corner of the house. Item appears quite sturdy and strong. It has helped with tidiness as I can arrange my shoes out of sight!

Looks fabulous but after 2 weeks the bottom drawer has come of its ' hinge' and difficult to open so need to speak to customer services. Such a shsme as its lovely

Great unit
Lovely unit but does take a while to build. As someone else has mentioned the screws were too long and came through the side panels so be careful when screwing in the plastic inserts! This was ok for us as when in place you can’t see them. Unit did have a funny smell to start with but now wearing off.

Shoe rack review
I bought this this August self assembled ,assembly need 2 people and bit skill ,didn’t manage to assemble atound 90% but can use 2 lower drawers ,top drawer didn’t fit due some misalignment ,but looks good

We did,. Yes I would recommend it,otherwise it will topple over .
The back of the unit is fully boarded with a thin board that is pinned to the unit with the small pin nails provided. I have bought brass washers, 18 in the pack, and screws and screwed the board onto the back of the unit, equally spaced left side and right side, for stronger attachment to the unit. I believe that if you wanted to cut a hole in the back of the board, you may do so as the board is very thin. Just be very careful though.

There are no overhang of the top shelf with the back of the unit, the back of the unit is completely flush with the top of the unit.
