About this product
This McGregor Garden tomato greenhouse protects your plants, cuttings and seedlings in a controlled growing environment. It's made with a weather-resistant polyethylene cover and steel frame that holds two shelves. The zip-up door rolls open for easy access and ventilation. You can move it around your garden to catch the best sunlight or tuck it away when the season ends.
The two grid-style shelves let excess water drain away to keep roots healthy. Each shelf holds up to six kg so you can organise plants at different growing stages. The steel frame supports the cover through wind and rain. Assembly is easy for one person without any special tools. You'll have protected growing space that helps your plants thrive throughout the season.

Customers Say
Easy to assemble, sturdy mini greenhouse ideal for growing 2-4 tomato plants. Durable materials, good ventilation, and weather protection. Some concerns about height and stability in strong winds without weights.

Good value compact greenhouse
I bought one of these to grow tomatoes in a small unused part of our garden. It’s worked really well , so I have now bought a second one! It’s easy to assemble and to open and close. There are options to use guy ropes on grass , and pockets to put weights in - advisable as it did blow over in high winds without the weights . Overall very pleased with it.

Misleading description
Bought as wanted one with shelves. Very misleading as the shelves mentioned in description and in the Q&A refer to what the pots sit on on the ground and not shelves as you would think. Husband collected and assembled before I got home so was unable to return. Not fit for my purpose

Brilliant!
Ordering online was easy, the price was very reasonable and delivery was quick (with a very pleasant driver too). It took no time to put together and it holds a tomato grow bag (room for three plants). There are holes in the top of the unit to put support canes through (only slight niggle is that there are only two holes where I could have done with three). For a small garden or those who are unable to dig a garden, they are just perfect. I am considering buying more or even a larger greenhouse sized one!

Great green house especially at £18
Very nice green house specially if you find on sale. A must buy if you like to grow your own vegetables.

Lacks quality control
Poor quality, seams not stitched. Also it says dismantle for (winter) storagebut once together is reluctant to come apart again.

Hello Karen
I can advise the following for: McGregor Garden Tomato Greenhouse.
Yes, you can use the top, horizontal steel bars of the McGregor Garden Tomato Greenhouse (682/4723) to support tomato plants, typically by tying string, twine, or small, lightweight canes to them. Due to the lightweight nature of this 3.1kg steel-and-polyethylene structure, avoid hanging heavy loads directly from the top, and instead, use the top bar as an anchoring point for training plants.
Thanks for using Q&A

I agree, the measurements for this dont make sense when looking at the pictures for it.
Also, calling it a tomato grow house when its not wide enough to hold most grow bags, is pointless
