Creates Lovely big curls and volume
Excellent tong, creates lovely big curls, hears up quickly. Only 1 negative is the temperature selecter position. Its located at the base of the barrel and when twisting the handle to create the curl its very easy to turn the temp up or down without wanting to. Hence why I've only given the 3 * for design design

Wouldn’t recommend, curls/waves just drop out
I bought this to give my hair loose waves. I’d done some research and 1.5inch barrel was suggested for the look I was after. The tongs are easy enough to use. The barrel isn’t very long though, not long enough really. The temperature takes a while to heat. The curls looked great straight off, and at first I thought brilliant. But by the time I’d got to the next section of my hair the first section had already dropped out. I waited for it all to cool and tried again, I used heat styling spray, hairspray and the curls/waves just won’t hold. It doesn’t make your hair shiny either as it states. I get better results with my hair straighteners, just wanted to try a tong for ease, but they are useless.

So short you can only wrap mid length hair around it and the temperature dial is easy to knock when you’re holding it. I will be returning.

It does the job but nothing marvellous
I bought this to achieve this season, this fashionable beach waves. My hair is in a straight shoulder length, bob. It’s pretty impossible to get a curl using these, but they did achieve the wave that I was after. Comes with a heat protection glove and mat. Whilst the Matt is quite handy, the glove wouldn’t be needed if they would add another inch or so on the black tip on the end of the barrel. I don’t really believe that any curling tong can make your hair shine when it’s using an intense heat to make a style. The temperature control feature won’t be used by me, they’re either on or off!
