Slightly style over substance
I was in need of an iron in a bit of a hurry, so chose this one as it seemed to be quite popular, had a money off offer and my last iron was the same manufacturer which lasted ages. On the up side this iron performs very well, decent steam and makes a pleasing beep when up to temperature. On the down side the window to the water tank is extremely dark making it almost impossible to see how much water in in there. Very much you had one job... The temperature control is also a bit of a faff. You have to press the temperature button cycle through the different modes using some coloured lights to tell you which level it is. I would have just preferred a standard dial or slider to be honest.

I didnt find the beep a problem..its a very quiet beep and only does one beep when temperature is reached. I cant see how it would annoy anyone.
