About this product
This washable rug keeps your floors protected without the faff of constant cleaning. It's made from 100% polypropylene with a soft shaggy texture that's comfortable underfoot, and it's designed to absorb up to four times its own weight in water. The flexible rubber backing stops it sliding about on hard floors, which means it stays put even in busy hallways or by the back door. It's stain and fade resistant, so spills and daily traffic won't leave their mark, and it dries quickly after washing.
The non-slip backing gives you proper grip on tiles, wood or laminate floors without needing an extra underlay. Best non slip rug.
Love the texture of this rug. Have bought several of these rugs and wouldn’t buy anything else now. Unlike most rugs that slip around on the floor, once in place these rugs stay put. Great product and not a bad price.

“ Yes, the backing is black but it should not stain the carpet. But, to be on the side of caution,if the rug had been washed I wouldn’t put a damp rug down on the carpet I would make sure its dry first. ”

I had the same problem. It does make it easier if the rug is wet as the backing becomes softer, therefore with a lot of pushing and adjusting it is possible to push it inside most washing machines. It takes me about 10 minutes to get the dry rug inside my washing machine but once the washing cycle starts the rug softens even more so it will wash it well. Hope this helps.

Without knowing the size of your washing machine it is difficult to comment. If the rug is folded twice, this may help but wetting it first should not make any real difference
