About this product
If getting in and out of a dining chair or car seat feels awkward or takes effort, this swivel cushion makes the movement smoother. It rotates under you, so you can pivot into position without twisting your body or shuffling the chair around. The anti-slip backing keeps it secure, and the cover comes off for a machine wash when needed. It works on armless dining chairs and flat car seats, but it is not suitable for bucket seats, sports car seats, or sofas.
The swivel action reduces strain on your hips and back when you turn to sit or stand, making transfers easier at home or in the vehicle. The anti-slip base grips the seat to stop the cushion from shifting as you move. The removable cover is machine washable, so you can keep it fresh and hygienic without fuss. It comes with a 1-year guarantee.

Comfortable swivel cushion aiding mobility, especially post-hip replacement. Works well on flat seats and dining chairs; some issues with fit on bucket seats and durability.

Great price and good quality
Great price and good quality. My parents only had this in their home 20 minutes before finding it essential to making their lives easier.

Ease of moment.....
Waiting for a hip replacement, & this is helpful to ease yourself in & out of the card! Fits better in hubby's Kuga car seats, than on my S Cross seats with sort of bucket seat sides.....still very useful though. Grey colour is better than the cream 'sheepskin' one I got for my dad years ago. Grey will be a more serviceable colour.

Did not work well with my car seat
Bought to try help mum with poor mobility in and out of car. Did not fit my car seat ( Renault Kadjar) well so did not swivel properly when used. May work better with other car seats so worth measuring before buying.

Swivel cushion
Great little seat cushion to help with getting into and out of the car, so simple to swivel in to position when arthritis makes things difficult. Worth it's weight in gold!

Great product
The rotating seat cover has greatly improved my disabled wife's access into many sitting situations when transferring from her wheelchair to various forms of seating. A quality of life enhancer.

Hello Ep,
I can advise the following for the Streetwize Mobility Aid Swivel Cushion:
There isn't a maximum weight restriction noted on this product. This would likely be around 120kgs, but will depend on how flat the surface it is on when being used.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi LT,
Streetwize Mobility Aid Swivel Cushion 655/1993
This is not suitable for use with gloss wooden kitchen chairs.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Steph
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the: Streetwize Mobility Aid Swivel Cushion
The dimensions are:
Width – 38cms
Length – 38cms
Height 4cms
Thank you for using Q & A.
Yes I should imagine it will. I recently brought my husband home from hospital in my polo car. He has had a new hip, I put a small cushion on the middle of my seat to level it up, place the turntable on top, then a small cushion on top to achieve the height he had to have 20 inch. He got into the car backwards and turned around with both legs together. we could not believe how easy it was.. I had been very anxious, but it worked brilliant..
Hi Choirgirl49,
Please use the product dimension below to help determine suitability.

Hi Fred,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Streetwize Mobility Aid Swivel Cushion: I don’t see this type of use being an issue, providing the mattress type which it will be used on is not a foam type material, as this may cause sinkage.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A
Hi Ma,
No, this should not stain your leather car seats.
Hope this helps!

Hi Bev, No the seats in the vehicle do not have to be a fabric material, they can also be leather. The bottom of the swivel cushion is fitted with an anti-slip mat which should provide sufficient grip on all materials. Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Pickle,
the maximum weight/load that the item will carry is 100kgs, which would equate to around 15 stone and 10 pounds. Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi DF,
The Streetwize Mobility Aid Swivel Cushion can be installed on any seat with a flat surface.
On some bucket seats the base of the seat is too soft and the sides of the seat may be too high for the cushion to sit comfortably.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
The circular base flexes enough to be stable placed on my 2018 Ford Fiesta front passenger seat and it works very effectively to enable my very frail 87 year old mother-in-law to swing her legs into the car. I was pleasantly surprised because I had doubts too.
Hi Ck
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know
this cushion can be left in place whilst driving, however you will need to ensure it does not impair your ability to drive your vehicle.
Thanks for using Argos Q & A
Yes I do because, although it is not fixed down, it is mostly soft and isn’t heavy, so I don’t consider it too much of a risk. But if you prefer to be cautious it can easily fit under the car seat when it is not needed.
