The Argos Home Scandinavia 10 Drawer Chest gives you a place for everything, from t-shirts and pyjamas to socks and jewellery. It's made from solid pine that stands up to daily use, with ten drawers split between five large and five small compartments. Each drawer has its own wooden handle and smooth metal runners, so you can pull them open without sticking or effort. The white painted finish keeps things clean and simple, inspired by Nordic design. It fits alongside existing bedroom furniture without clashing.
The drawers glide on metal runners for smooth, quiet opening and closing. Wall fixings are included to secure it safely, especially important in homes with children. Self-assembly is needed, two people recommended to make it easier. The multiple drawer sizes let you organise different items separately, no more hunting through mixed piles. A well crafted set of draws. Everything was well fitted and even though it arrived and was 5 knobs short, these were easily sourced via the help desk on the instruction pack. I was able to finish the build a few days later. The draws look nice and have fantastic storage.

Scandinavian 10 drawer chest in pine
The runners on the bottom of the drawers have no holes and the bars holding the chest together was not very clear

8 hour build
With an electric screwdriver, set aside 8 hours to build this by yourself. I’m not exaggerating when I say there are 257 screws, 36 nails and 64 dowels as part of the assembly. I quite like the look of the unit and especially the value, it’s a little lightweight and there’s a few lightly stapled pieces of wood waiting to catch you out if you move but the rails are smooth and the knobs and top piece are solid wood.

The depth of the Argos Home Scandinavia 5 + 5 Drawer Chest - Two Tone is 40cm from the furthest points of the chest, which would include the top.

I am the person who posted the question. The answer as given is just a cut and paste of the information on the page.
It still does not explain how the height of 5 drawers with a depth of 9.65cm each can give a total of 93cm.
Please would a staff member check with the manufacturer. Alternatively, maybe someone who has bought this - or another in the series - would be kind enough to measure the depth of the drawers.
