Learning to steer takes balance, not brakes. The Zinc T-Motion Kids Light Up Scooter has three wheels and a lean-to-steer system, so young riders can find their balance one push at a time. The handlebar adjusts through three heights as they grow. Deck and wheels light up when they move, adding visibility for outdoor use. Suitable for ages 3 with adult supervision. For outdoor garden or path use, not traffic.
Built with smooth PU wheels and an anti-slip footplate for stable scooting. The rear footbrake gives confident stopping power when they need it. Rubber grips keep hands steady. Lights run on four AA batteries. Minimal assembly required. Protective equipment recommended helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards. Adult supervision needed at all times.

Great Scooter
Bought this for my 8 year old. It has a good sized deck wide enough for stability and 2 feet. The 4 different height options are what sealed the deal. As he can increase the height as he gets taller. The light up wheels do no need batteries and he was happy with that. Though if you want the side deck lights you have the option with batteries. It is slightly noisy but nothing to deter a purchase.

This seems wonderful, it’s got a wide bed for my Four year old to stand on, so unlike the previous scooter he’s not fallen off once! My only complaint could be that my older boy is also fine on it, but the age selection online didn’t show it when I was looking at 5yrs. I’ve also not put batteries in the base for the side lights.

I can confirm that this does not fold up. it has no hinged section at the base to allow you to do so. However, it can be disassembled as the handlebar section can be removed from the base. This would allow you to carry or store it with it taking up less space. It may be this to which the reviews refer.
