Works well as it should. Fixing brackets are plastic which is a little disappointing for the price of it, metal would have been good. Saying that it seems to be holding firm at present.

" Scandinavian Pet configure extra tall safety gate can be used as a fire guard by purchasing extra sections.
As a fireguard, there are safety distances that must be observed.
With a closed fireplace, distances to the heat source are 75 cm.
With an open fireplace, the distance is 90 cm. "
