Maximum Ring Light Power Output.
I bought this USB Surge Adapter in order to power an LJJ-30 Ring Light at full power (about 11 Watts). It outputs 5 Volts at 2.1 Amperes which is enough for full illumination from this Ring Light. Using a USB 2.0 port on my PC would not be able to supply enough electrical power and, indeed, would have burned out my PC's USB 2.0 socket; I wouldn't even feel safe using USB 3.0 sockets either. Using the Masterplug USB Surge Adapter is safer and can deliver maximum electrical power for maximum brightness!

Hi Ellie, thank you for your enquiry.

Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi BOFH, thank you for your enquiry.
It depends why the monitor is being affected, it may not be an excess of Voltage but an imbalance between Live and Neutral levels (which this protector cannot do anything about).
If it _is_ a Voltage spike then it would need to exceed 275V for this protector to redirect any of it to Earth, so it depends on how much power the motor would be dumping into the circuits when it stops running.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.

Hi CustQs, thank you for your enquiry.
We cannot advise you on Energenie products as we don't make them so have no access to their technical information, you would need to ask the question on the adaptor listing so they can advise you directly.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hello,
Yes that is fine to use this for an electric toothbrush
Kind regards

Hi Doggy, thank you for your enquiry.
As long as your vape manages its own charging and will stop demanding power when the battery is fully charged (some don't do this) then it should be alright.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hello Secret Squirrel,
Masterplug USB Surge Adaptor
The USB slots output is rated at 5V.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Leigh, thank you for your enquiry.
We don't know of any USB charged devices which are unable to utilise the outputs of this adaptor.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi JBman, thank you for your enquiry.
The adaptor as a whole is Surge Protected, so anything plugged into either the mains socket on the front or the USBs on top will be beyond that protection.
In addition, USB A has a fixed maximum output of 5V so this could be considered a secondary level of protection.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Jeurn, thank you for your enquiry.
There are several different fast / rapid charge standards, operating slightly differently to each other and copyrighted by the company which developed them.
The USB max output is 2.1A at 5V so 10.5W, if you have a device which requires less than this then it will charge at its maximum standard speed, if it needs more then it won't achieve maximum standard speed.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Susan, thank you for your enquiry.
As with all standard USB A sockets the output is set at 5V.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
