Amazing camera
I bought this product after someone kicked my gate through,at 9.30pm. It has made me feel safer, the resolution is amazing, and it alerts instantly if someone approaches the garden. Great camera, easy to fit, really great product.

Terrific Tapo cctv cameras
Great cctv cameras, it connects easily to the internet, picture quality is excellent, picks up every movement, I use a San disk 32GB high indurance micro as memory card, which is excellent. Don’t use the Tapo storage facility, it’s not that great. Micro card is the best. I would definitely recommend this product.

Not as expected
I purchased the Tapo C500 HD Outdoor Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Security Camera – 2 Pack hoping for clear, reliable footage. While the camera works fine for general monitoring and motion alerts, the video quality really lets it down when you zoom in. Faces and license plates become blurry and indistinct, even in good lighting, so it’s not very useful for identification purposes. If you need detailed footage (e.g., reading number plates or recognizing faces), I would recommend investing in a 4K camera instead - the extra resolution makes a noticeable difference. Good for basic surveillance, but disappointing if you were expecting crisp zoomed-in video.

The Tapo app allows multiple users to access the same camera—the camera owner can use the ‘device sharing’ feature to share access with other Tapo accounts. Each user simply needs to install the Tapo app on their device and obtain access from the main account holder.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tapo C500 HD Outdoor Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Security Camera - 2 Pack: The Tapo C500 uses a DC power adapter with a power connector size of 2.1 mm (inside diameter) and 5.5 mm (outside diameter). The power cord length is 3 meters, and the adapter is designed for 100-240 V,50/60 Hz input. Generally, the plug is a standard round DC barrel type, which is relatively compact. However, if the waterproof socket has limited space, you may want to check the fit with the actual adapter or consider using a compatible right-angle DC extension cable for better clearance.
