Short code dialling doesn’t work.
Purchased one of the BT Duet phones in March 2026 but I could not get the short code memory dialling to store the number. Phone returned to Argos and purchased another. The same problem again and this was done whilst the BT guide was on the phone guiding me. Other reviews have said they had the same problem. If you don’t need this function then the phone is fine.

Great little phone
Bought this phone a few weeks ago to replace a similar model we had had for years which developed a bad crackling noise. So far it's excellent and expect it to be so for many years.

Cheap as Chips
Cheap as chips, literally, considering the price of fast food these days! Happy with price and performance as phone works as expected. Don't plan on using it much so wanted a fairly discreet wall mounted landline phone to connect to our new digital router and this was the least expensive option. Only issue was an adapter was required to connect to the router which was provided by the broadband provider.

If your router has a standard BT Phone line port on it, you simply need a phone line extension kit if you want the phone to be further away.
