About this product
Saving rainwater for your garden? The Whitefurze Water Butt collects 230L efficiently. It's made from recycled polypropylene so you're helping reduce plastic waste. The three-piece interlocking stand elevates the butt for easier access. You'll secure everything firmly using the three plastic link clips provided. All holes come pre-drilled so attaching components takes minutes. The butt includes a tap for controlled water flow. It's 100% recyclable when you eventually replace it.
Connect to downpipes easily with the included diverter and t-piece. The flexible hose directs overflow water where you want it. The stand adds stability and raises height for comfortable access. You won't struggle with assembly thanks to pre-drilled attachment points. It's suitable for small to medium gardens needing water conservation. The tap lets you fill cans without lifting heavy containers. Complete kit includes stand, clips, diverter, t-piece with caps, tap and hose.
Stand, 3x plastic link clips (to secure stand together) diverter, T-piece and 2x T piece caps, tap and flexible hose.

Great capacity water butt
Purchased this water butt to replace the exact one we already have, which is leaking. Unfortunately we have had to return this one as the cut out in the down pipe for the existing butt is too large to put in the new fitting. Sadly all fittings have been changed and would be too costly to call in someone to replace the downpipe too. One star given for ease of set up due to the fitting. Perhaps state on the description that one should consider the downpipe fitting if replacing this one with an old. Customer service was outstanding. Thank you

Well thought out
So pleased with these water butts, & their overall design. The stands were especially robust, & the included connection kit especially easy to fit. I did have to add a second rubber seal on one tap unit, as it was inverted when fitted, but again the integrated thread made assembly so simple, the icing being a great price!

Thin can’t see it lasting as not very robust.
Easy to assemble but the tap leaked unless I turned it to the side. Very thin compared to my last water butt that lasted 10 years. Hope I’m proved wrong.

Makes sense to save rain water
This is the second one I have bought of these and I may even purchase a third. It's amazing how quickly these fill up and how much water the contain. Rain water is so much better for your plants and if we had to pay for water over here this certainly would save you money. So easy to connect to the downspout and is very stable.

Hello Jack,
The supplier has advised the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
"In essence, unfortunately having a metal downpipe won’t work with our water butt and you need to connect the water but to the downpipe."
But they do add the following point:
"Our 230L Water Butt can be used without being connected to a downpipe. So, for customers who don’t want to connect or cannot connect they can still use the 230L. This is due to the lid having some purpose made holes in the lids to collect rain water safely and without the need to connect to a downpipe."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Dee Dee,
I can advise the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
It's possible, you may need a filter to ensure the water is clear for the pressure washer. You would then be limited by the amount of water that is in the butt.

Hello Dunstan,

“ The water butt diverter operates in the below steps
It is installed in the downpipe of a rainwater drainage system.
Rainwater is diverted through a hose into the water butt.
When the water butt reaches full capacity, the diverter automatically stops the flow, allowing any excess rainwater to continue down the down pipe and safely drain away. ”
