Bought this afternoon our Samsung packed up. So easy to set up, picture quality and sound superb. Easy to access the settings, connect to Internet etc...lots of free channels, like Disney, Freely, Netflix highly recommend this tv

Good picture Software not so good
We previously had a straightforward TV that you switched on and then using the remote control chose the channel. Not so with this. It operates like a computer, taking a while to start and then keeps trying to make us use the installed services, which we simply neither need nor want. To get round that problem we get it started and then keep it on standby all day which isn't very satisfactory. We don't have good enough broadband where we live to take input from our internet service so it will only provide lower picture quality. As we have a satellite box we can receive HD pictures despite the troublesome way it's designed to operate. How this compares with other TVs now available we don't know but the picture quality is very good. Sound quality is good as we use additional speakers powered through the headphones jack. Price was the best we found for what we were looking for.
