I bought this for my granddaughters 3rd birthday and she absolutely loves it.

Bolt came off after a week
I bought this bike with so much excitement for my four-year-old son. Unfortunately, after just a week, the bolt came off. I took it to a bike shop, and they told me the inside looked worn out—which was surprising after such a short time. They tightened the bolt, but it came off again the very next day. At that point, I was hesitant about returning it because I know Argos can sometimes be difficult with refunds on used items, even when you’re within your rights. I just didn’t want the hassle. In the end, I decided to take it back anyway, and I’m glad I did. The lady at the Whitechapel branch in London was lovely—she understood my concern immediately, no long explanation needed, and processed the return without any issues. I ended up repurchasing the same bike. Why? Because it was the only one they had in stock, and my son is very reliant on riding something—he prefers his scooter over walking! Fingers crossed we don’t run into the same issue again.

Zinc 1st Scooter - handlebars moving!
Having bought this scooter the 1st time, the handlebars were moving from side to side and were not stable this would have caused injury so I took it back and got another 1. Sadly the same issue still existed making the scooter dangerous to ride in my opinion. Being a 1st scooter and for toddlers still trying to find their feet, it is important to have a stable scooter. For the price of the scooter, you would expect it to be stable in all aspects but unfortunately this is not the case with this Zinc 1st scooter. I have therefore had to buy a different brand which is much more stable and ideal as a 1st scooter.

Hello there. The Zinc T-Motion Foldable Light Up 3 Wheel Scooter is suitable for children from age 3 upwards. However, as children grow at different rates it is best to assess whether your child suits the height and weight limits of the scooter. The maximum handlebar height is 82.5cm and the maximum weight is 80kg. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Q and A.
I have since phoned the manufacturer, Zinc.
They do make a blue version, contry to Argos reply.
Zinc have looked at the Argos listing for the pink T- motion and it is listed in accurately.
Zinc do not make any children tri scooters that are 80kg maximum load, and Zinc say they make them as 50kg maximum ride load for safety
The pink, blue and black Zinc T - Motion tri wheeled scooter is 50kg not 80kg maximum wait load.
Zinc will be contacting Argos
Argos replied incorrectly to my question.
Hello Leon,
The supplier has advised the following for the Zinc T-Motion Foldable Light Up 3 Wheel Scooter - Pink:
“The original folding T-Motion has maximum weight limit 80kg. This scooter comes only in Black or Pink, there is no Blue version of the folding T-Motion.
What they might be looking at and comparing with, is probably the non-folding T-Motion or the T-Motion Shine. Those two models have maximum weight limit 50kg. They are not the same scooters as the Folding T-Motion. ”
Thanks for using Q & A.
