Best TV in our budget (£450)
3rd time of asking: after returning one refurbished TV through another vendor because of a patch of dead pixels, we then bought an ICL through argos. This one kept on freezing and chucking us off catchup. Finally settled on this 2024 model from Hisense. To us the operating system is much simpler and easier to navigate than the complex Google system on the ICL. It has the 144mhz refresh for gaming and motion (I.e. Watching football etc) and the colours generally seem very true to life. No more freezing, the occasional 2- 3 seconds loading but all acceptable for an Internet TV. Very pleased that we finally have something that works. This one's a 55inch and the legs are just over a metre wide so check your TV cabinets which tend to be 1 metre.

Amazing value TV
I have had this TV for about 6 months now and it is absolutely fantastic. Perfect picture quality, never any issues with sound or video. The design makes it look bigger, even for a 55” which fills our wall perfectly. Definitely recommend this one

bought this tv about a month ago to replace an ageing sony bravia. impressive screen clarity, colours, and a plethora of features. works seamlessly with my PS5. the sound gets an honorable mention, dolby atmos and decent bass. highly recommended.

Picture quality for the price is great but operating system is big downside for me, no google store, no google aps, problems with compatibility, can,t use google home, I would not buy this TV again even if picture is good there is so many options there

The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and the built-in speakers are decent for everyday use. It runs smoothly and the Vidaa interface is quick and easy to navigate. Overall, for the price, it’s packed with features and feels like great value. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after a solid mid-range 4K TV.

One, but significant difference is that latest model released this year, 55E7NQTUK Pro, has Freely embedded as additional service, while older model 557KQTUK Pro has FreeView.''
