Great machine.
I bought this grinder about a couple of months ago and fitted a wood carving disc to strip bark and edge of thick sawn oak boards. Did the job easily and quickly . Great little machine. The best feature is the control off & on power switch located underneath the handle. Good safety feature as you have two hands on the machine at all times. I use a longer spanner to change discs as holding the lock on and using the smaller spanner and holding the lock on was awkward. Very good value for money.

Great little Grinder
I bought the Grinder for a small job I had to do. It is a very good tool for the price. With a good steel cutting disc (Not included) Ffnished the job quickly. Would have liked a couple of discs to use it straight from the box but that would have pushed the price up to near its competitors.

Guild tools are good quality and good value
Unfortunately some parts were missing, Did have an online chat about this and was told I could have a partial refund. Have heard nothing since, I did keep the grinder and I used parts I already had from my old one

Lightweight and perfect for the job!
I bought this a month ago after looking at way more expensive models and it's been perfect for getting all the corrosion off of my old and bad looking alloy wheels. It was a delight to remove all the old lacquer and corroded metal so much faster and easier than my usual "angle" of attack by hand sanding! Don't spend a fortune on tools when all you need is an affordable piece of kit like this!

ANGLE GRINDER
NOT USED ONE BEFORE, BUT EASY TO ASSEMBLE, FIRM GRIP REQUIRED DURING USE AND DONT FORGET TO WEAR EYE PROTECTION DUE TO SPARKS! DID THE JOB WELL I BOUGHT IT FOR.

Excellent angle grinder
Very sturdy device at an excellent price. Works really well. I bought this one because the slider switches on the other grinders are fiddly to operate. The switch on this one works far better than the others.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Guild 115mm Angle Grinder:
You can cut tempered (toughened) safety glass with an angle grinder using the diamond glass cutting disk.
You may also need to have special polishing equipment to clean up the cut.
CAUTION: When using a diamond disc it will become very hot. If this happens you will see a full ring of sparks around the rotating disc. Stop cutting and allow to cool at no load speed for 2-3 minutes. 7. Always ensure the workpiece is firmly held or clamped to prevent movement.
Always wear eye protection
