Great monitor
I bought this monitor a few weeks ago and the quality compared to my old monitors is vast. The monitor is great for gaming and watching videos due to its size.

Plugged in didn’t work
Returned via DPD as plugged it in light came on then nothing ! Contacted Argos DPD collected and took to Argos repair centre, 3 weeks later and they said would refund me. Yh they refunded and told me they had got the monitor but haven’t told me about insurance cover yet!

I love it
I was looking for a big monitor and came across this Gigabyte CO49DQ... A whopping 49 inches of curvy goodness, I decided that I couldn't resist and within a few days Argos had a huge box at my door! I'm not a huge gamer, but I do like simulation games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator and this performs absolutely outstandingly for this - the monitor is very vibrant, so much so, I had to turn the brightness down. The curved nature of this monitor makes viewing easier too. My only real grumble is the control stick to change the settings is a bit fiddly and I'd have expected such a product to come with some sort of remote control for easier access. For what I need, the monitor is fantastic. Hopefully it will serve me for many years to come!

Regarding the Gigabyte CO49DQ 49 Inch 144Hz QHD Gaming Monitor. Go to 'Sound' settings on your PC and set the output device to the monitor speakers.

If you connect the monitor using the display port cable then the speakers will show in your PC settings. Be warned though, they are not very good!
