A World of Imagination
I have only just got back into reading again, and I have been very impressed with my Kobo Clara bw. It has an auto function to increase the brightness of the screen in low light, as well as a softer glow in order to maintain eye comfort. The text is very legible, and can be increased or decreased in size as required. It is also possible to import different fonts, so I downloaded the bookerly font which is used on Amazon Kindles, as I particularly like it. The Kobo is great for looking up with libraries for ebooks through the use of apps such as Borrow Box and Overdrive, so reading needn't be an expensive hobby. Books can also be borrowed from the Internet Archive, so the selection is very extensive, and with 16gb of storage, there is plenty of room for books. Other features include water proofing, as well as good battery life. I would highly recommend the Kobo bw. It has many of the features of the kindle paperwhite at a cheaper price point, and is more versatile in terms of the formats which can be used on it. However, Kobo Plus does not have as many books as Kindle Unlimited, which might be a factor for some people. Alternatively, people might want to get away from the Amazon echo system, and actually own the books they have bought (Amazon has changed this so the customer only has a licence to read the book and not download it to another device apparently). Most of all, discover the joy of reading again, and this device is a great gateway back into the world of books - your brain will literally thank you for it!

Small but powerful and I love the night colour
I'm liking this Kobo for the fact that it allows more formats than my previous one. It's a bit smaler but the light is nicer on the eyes reading later at night. You can also borrow books from your local library which I have never seen before, and read in landscape. Brilliant!

Great e-reader - compact and light
The main reason I chose a Kobo is to borrow and read books from my local library something that’s not available on Kindles in the UK. So far I’m very impressed with its functionality although the web browser not working - don’t really need this but might be an issue for some. You need to buy a case/cover for this which is an extra expense but on the whole I’m really impressed with the readability.

Kobo for the win!
I was looking for an ereader to mainly side load my own docs and read the occaisional book from the various options online, but didn't didn't want to buy into the Amazon ecosystem after having had a Kindle for a while. The Kobo was the most obvious choice. I've been using it for a few weeks now and i'm not disappointed, it's great!. Loading and buying books is simple. The display looks fantastic and its font and brightness/colour options are excellent too. Overall very happy chappy!

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Kobo Clara BW 16GB Wi-Fi E-Reader - Black.
This depends on the eBook and where/how it was purchased or downloaded, due to something called Digital Rights Management.
If the eBooks were purchased through the Kobo Store and are linked to their Kobo account, simply logging into the same Kobo account on their new device and syncing will automatically download all their purchased eBooks to the new device.
For eBooks not purchased through Kobo, or for transferring files directly, they can connect their Kobo devices to a computer and copy DRM-free e-pub or pdf files from the old Kobo to the new Kobo.
If some eBooks have DRM protection, removing DRM is necessary to transfer files between different Kobo accounts or to another device.
