Honestly, this appliance has changed how and when I do the laundry. There are 5 adults in our house and it feels like just one. Truly a game changer, it moves the needle. Looks good as well.

Our old tumble dryer stopped working. So it was better value to buy a new one. Already had an AEG washer. So this purchase made sense to get an AEG dryer. It works amazingly. It is in the utility room. No more steamed up windows with this product. Clothes are dried efficiently. Great purchase .

Well built, reliable, easy to use. The anti-crease function is a nice feature: we use it almost all the time. Seems to use very little power. The 'wardrobe' setting tends to leave clothes a little too damp for my liking.

1. Airflow & Ventilation
The airflow slots located at the bottom front of the machine require unobstructed airflow to function properly. Blocking these can lead to overheating or reduced drying performance.
Heat-pump dryers like the TR718L4B release heat during operation and need adequate air exchange in the surrounding space. Placing it against a wall ensures proper circulation and efficient heat management.
2. Safety & Compliance
The user manual emphasizes installation in an area with adequate air exchange and advises against environments with no airflow. Proper positioning helps mitigate the risk of overheating and ensures compliance with safety standards.
This appliance does not have a self-cleaning condenser. Please refer to Section 12.5 Cleaning the condenser, on page 23 of the user manual.

The AEG TR718L4B tumble dryer comes with a power cord that is approximately 1.45 meters long. Unfortunately, AEG does not sell longer power cables for this model.
For safety reasons, it's not recommended to replace the power cord yourself. Instead, you might consider using a high-quality extension lead that is suitable for the power requirements of the dryer. Make sure the extension lead is rated for the same or higher current as the dryer to avoid any electrical issues.
