I bought this vacuum cleaner as it is lightweight and easier to use. It has good suction and a good battery life. All round a great cordless vacuum cleaner. Lives up to it’s expectations.

Best hoover so far
It’s says recent purchase but I bought it a while back. Yeh it’s good especially with the top setting switched on which increases the suction power when hoovering the carpets upstairs also switching on the rotating brush if that’s what you call it also helps to hoover carpets. The normal low setting without the rotating brush switched on is good for my hardwood floors. The only downfall is that when you switch the rotating brush on and have the high setting turned on e.g for the carpets, the battery dies quicker; so if you have a fairly big house make sure you have more than one battery so you can hoover the whole house in one go!

Stylish and easy to use with good suction
Really pleased so far. Very good suction. Stylish black, silver and grey which was important as I have to leave the vacuum out at all times in my small flat.I was able to fix the wall-mouting bracket to the side of a wooden storage unit - the vacuum will not stay standing on its own. Very good dust collecting capacity. The motorised head for use on carpets is very impressive. I did some slow vacuuming and was amazed (and alarmed!) at the amount of dust picked up. Fairly easy to take apart to empty out and clean. I purchased a replacement filter direct from Vax so I can keep using the vacuum while the other filter dries out. I like the controls, standard or max suction and you turn the motorised head off and on via the handle too. I am in a small one bed flat and have found the battery life very suitable for my needs. Charging is only a few hours and quicker than my previous Hoover cordless which is a bonus. Obviously if you use max power, the battery life will go down quicker, but you can see it as the bars of light on the handle fade out so you know when it needs recharging. Overall, for the price I hope this will last me several years. I like that spare parts are available and was also able to pick up an affordable attachment head for upholstery/dusting online. It has a small nozzle attachment for more focused cleaning of areas which is handy too. Not too heavy and feels well built.

"How do you remove hairs wrapped around brushes?
1. Remove the Floor Head from the Pole/Hand held unit
2. Using a coin, turn the brush bar anticlockwise to release the brush bar
3. Pull the brush bar out of the housing.
4. To remove any threads of hair, slide the blade of a pair of scissors into the groove of the brush bar and cut along the groove
5. Slide the brush bar back into the Floorhead, ensuring the brush bar slides onto the brush bar spindle.
6. Align the arrow on the brush bar cover o that it points north, firmly push & twist clockwise to lock."
