About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Ottoman Bed sorts out bedroom storage while you're sleeping soundly on top. There's a gas lift mechanism that lets you raise the mattress base easily from the end, revealing 580L of hidden space underneath for bedding, spare pillows, or things that don't need to be out on show. The padded headboard's covered in a soft linen-look fabric that gives it a relaxed, modern feel. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress evenly and let air circulate to keep everything fresh. It's a small double size that fits nicely into compact bedrooms without crowding the room.
The upholstered frame's finished in that same linen-look fabric, so it coordinates with most bedroom styles. Plastic feet lift the base 1.5cm off the floor for easy cleaning underneath. The storage area inside measures 192cm wide by 121cm deep, there's room for bulky items like spare duvets or suitcases. Headboard fixings are included in the pack, so you can attach it securely to the frame. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Perfect for my needs
Great bed, I thought the small double might be a bit too small but it isn’t and gives me much more room in a narrow bedroom. It is a very solid bed with an easy to use mechanism.The mattress is comfortable and the storage is great, with very easy access. The fabric base enables ventilation throughout the storage compartment.

Luxurious looking bed at great value.
I bought this bed last week for my teenage daughter’s bedroom. It took me about 4 hours to build on my own, the instructions and numbered parts are the best I have ever received with an item. Padded head and side boards are really good quality and look stylish. Ottoman lift storage offers space to hide away clutter. Frame is sturdy and well ventilated. Daughter loves it!

Our supplier has advised that the total height from the floor to the top of the base, when open with no mattress, is 149cm.
This can reach higher depending on the depth of the mattress you use and also the overall height can be affected by the mattress weight.
