About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Ottoman Bed sorts your bedroom storage without taking up extra floor space. It's a double bedframe with a soft padded headboard and linen-style upholstery that sits well with modern bedroom styles. The clever bit's underneath, lift the end with the gas-lift mechanism and you'll reveal 650L of hidden storage. That's plenty of room for bedding, off-season clothes, or anything you'd rather tuck out of sight.
The sprung wooden slats support your mattress and let air circulate underneath, keeping things fresh. The upholstered frame's covered in a linen-look fabric that feels soft and wipes down easily after everyday use. Plastic feet lift the base just clear of the floor, so you can hoover underneath. Assembly's required, and you'll want a hand from someone else, it arrives flat-packed with the headboard and fixings included.
Sprung wooden slats provide comfortable mattress support and healthy ventilation.

Lovely Small Double Bed
My daughter’s 13th birthday is next month and I’m buying her as a present - upgrading her single bed to a small double bed. She’s very particular about style and design so after doing a lot of online searching this is what she likes best. This mattress can hold a weight of up to 220kg, so if you were to use a 65kg mattress, people up to the weight of 155kg (24.4 stone) would be able to use it as well.
