About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Ottoman Bed gives you loads of hidden storage space without taking over your bedroom. It's an end-lift design that opens to reveal 580L of space underneath, ideal for spare bedding, out-of-season clothes, or anything you need tucked away. The gas lift mechanism raises the base smoothly, so you can access everything without straining. There's a padded headboard included and sprung wooden slats that support your mattress evenly while letting air circulate to keep things fresh.
The frame's upholstered in linen-look fabric that's practical for daily use. Plastic feet keep the whole thing stable and lift it just off the floor. It'll hold a maximum user weight of 220kg. Sprung wooden slats spread the weight and provide ventilation for your mattress. Arrives flat-packed in two boxes, and it's easiest to put together with two people. There's a two-year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Lovely Small Double Bed
My daughter’s 13th birthday is next month and I’m buying her as a present - upgrading her single bed to a small double bed. She’s very particular about style and design so after doing a lot of online searching this is what she likes best. It looks exactly like the picture – stylish and ecstatic (her words) with good storage. The delivery was great and the assembly was easy.

The headboard is 1325mm in width, this gives 25mm extra each side of the headboard.

This mattress can hold a weight of up to 220kg, so if you were to use a 65kg mattress, people up to the weight of 155kg (24.4 stone) would be able to use it as well.
