About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Ottoman Bed gives you loads of hidden storage space without taking over your bedroom. It's an end-lift design that opens to reveal 580L of space underneath, ideal for spare bedding, out-of-season clothes, or anything you need tucked away. The gas lift mechanism raises the base smoothly, so you can access everything without straining. There's a padded headboard included and sprung wooden slats that support your mattress evenly while letting air circulate to keep things fresh.
The frame's upholstered in linen-look fabric that's practical for daily use. Plastic feet keep the whole thing stable and lift it just off the floor. It'll hold a maximum user weight of 220kg. Sprung wooden slats spread the weight and provide ventilation for your mattress. Arrives flat-packed in two boxes, and it's easiest to put together with two people. There's a two-year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Overall very happy with the look of this bed
I bought this a month ago and have only just put it together. It took over an hour to build with two people ( two more helped with fitting the slats to speed up the process) and it took a while to get the gas strut fittings correctly to enable the frame to be lowered - it is hard to know when you’ve got them right, as it requires a lot of strength to pull/ push it down. However it looks good and feels sturdy and comfortable.

Bought the taupe colour goes beautifully against my natural hessian wall paint. Looks good , comfortable. Needed two adults to assemble. The instructions could be better they are not as clear as another popular company flat pack . The ottoman base doesn’t have a board has material but not a board . The strap is instructed to be put on the middle rail 80% down however should be on the bottom so can easily see and use when lifting. The Velcro is thin wish it had been thicker . The headboard is thick but hollow . It’s a low bed which is what I wanted in a loft room .

Love it great bed
Bought this bed to replace a single one.The storage is great and I can fit lots of bedding in boxes underneath. A bit fiddly to put together,we are pensioners,it took around 3 hours over two days to make it up but it looks great.

Nice looking, comfortable, plenty of storage.
Built this bed a week ago and very pleased with it. Took me and my husband around 3 hours to build but it was fairly straight forward. The bed itself is really sturdy and really pretty. There is so much room under also for stuff. Very impressed. If you like the look of it then go for it.

Happily surprised with upholstery quality
I bought this a month ago to improve the storage in my bedroom. For the price I was a bit nervous on the upholstery quality but was very impressed with the texture and colour. Lovely and spacious storage and so much easier to access everything. Husband was able to put it mostly together on his own, only needed my help for one part.

Lovely bed
Lovely bed, very stylish & exactly what I was looking for. The bed has a decent amount of storage underneath, and appears to be very stable. I would say this bed is good value for money. Only downside is that instructions for building the bed, they are image only and no words.

Super comfy and great quality.
Our daughter is delighted with this new bed. We were delighted with the price! It is great quality, blends well with the decor and is extremely comfortable. The green is not as obvious as we thought so it blends well with a grey roller blind. It also opens up the space in the bedroom as it doesn't have a frame higher than the mattress. We also discovered that two single mattresses from IKEA fit perfectly onto it (it's a king size) so we didn't need to order a mattress. Plenty of storage underneath too.

Great storage a little complicated instructions
The bed is great it was a little lower than expected as the mattress sits white in the frame also note that it took 3 hours to build as the instructions were quite complicated however I love the bed and the colour and the excellent storage it easily end lifts up for acsess. The headboard is nice too it was great for the price.
