Perfectly decent and functional cabinet.
We bought this as a practical item to help organise kitchen stuff that could not live in the kitchen itself. It was quite simple to assemble and seems a little flimsy at first until the whole thing is assembled, when it is fine. it's not the right sort of "sage" for our purposes (it's quite a blue shade), but there are spray paints available that can get the colour better if you need to, which we will use. The finish is nice and smooth, but some of the fixings have a tendency to lift the MDF close by and you have to be careful with these parts. We are also likely to replace the top with a proper wood board with bevelled edges to tie in with existing furnishings. The capacity is good and makes for a practical and useful cabinet.

Just what I wanted!
Definitely needs two people to put it together, as it's quite heavy, but all the components were present and correct, and once we'd studied the instructions, it was comparatively simple. Sturdy piece of furniture that looks great in my new bathroom, and a lovely colour.

The height from the floor to the underside of the unit is 6cm.

Hello Josh I have taken a look at the instructions for building the Argos Home Livingston Double Unit. To calculate the size of the gap above the door I have taken the below details for assessment.
The height of the unit is 86cm
The door measurements is 58cm in height
86-58 = 28cm - the gap from top to bottom is 28cm approximately.
The top panel measures 63cm the doors measure 26.7cm each (so times by 2) = 53.4cm
The width of the gap at the top (taking away all other panels measuring 9.6) measures 53.4cm approximately.

"The top is covered by a very thin layer of real wood veneer covering a manufactured wood.
Sanding and painting is not recommended and would void the Argos warranty."
