Worst vacuum cleaner I've ever had
Had this for just over a month and wish I had sent it back. Even on high power mode it still doesn't pick up everything. Doesn't clean edges, battery lasts about 20 mins, not enough to do whole house and takes about 5 hours to recharge. Also the head gets clogged and needs cleaning each time its used.

Disappointing cleaning and too noisy.
I bought this because of opportunity to swop batteries during a vacuuming session - I also purchased a second battery. I also like the "headlight" feature. However, if I follow a thorough session with the Vax - picking up a reasonable quantity of dust and cat fur - with a run with my elderly competitor battery stick vacuum, I pick up a further load of dust and fur amounting to maybe an extra 1/3 of the Vax load. it is clear the Vax clearing is not so good. I also find the emptying process rather cumbersome - it seems to be designed for left-handed people. The Vax also has a more intrusive higher pitched noise. I regret the purchase.

Excellent cleaner
I bought this over a month ago as my older model , 5 years wasn't quite as powerful as I wanted. The homePro Pet has certainly done the job so far and my carpet pile is standing up again. I like the easy emptying system, the fact that it stands self supported and find the machine easy to use although it is a lot heavier than the older model. It feels very similar to a corded machine in many respects. I don't like the bendy stem this is not a useful feature for me and it is very easy to slip the tube up and get a bend when you don't want one. Wish there was somewhere to store attachments on the machine this is a drawbacks for me. Overall would recommend this cleaner. I like Vax products I have found them well designed and reliable. When I have had a problem Vax have helped me so would buy again.

Very Happy with this vac just so you know if the battery is hot it wont charge when you first put into charger but if left it will charge when its gone cold. Nice vac for the money

Impressive performance
I bought the cleaner a few weeks ago. It is a great improvement on my old one. Excellent at picking up dust etc. Like the accessories which are lettered and easy to use.

To flimsy and cheap
First time using a Vax, I was not impressed feels cheap, it won't stand up with battery on without falling over plus the handle came off the hoover base on first use. Will not buy Vax again.

Yes, it is stable enough to self‑stand for short periods. It is not engineered to stay like that indefinitely or survive a knock, like a child bumping it or a pet brushing against it.

They will fit, but it will be tight as there is a slight design difference in the way it sits on the vax.

I can confirm the bin can easily be emptied using the slide function. The tools are also easily interchangeable.
