An attractive addition, the Rio bed features a beautifully waxed pine or white washed finish to provide any bedroom with a great centre piece. The Rio is constructed from solid pine and features a solid slatted base to provide firmer support and allow air to circulate beneath the mattress.
Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

Awful
Most disappointing big purchase I've ever made. They wouldn't allow my full review so, I will hazard this: The package arrived at my neighbours damaged, so much so that the instructions were ripped and I had to stick them back together. This is an extremely heavy package. There were parts missing from the bed which we had to wait extra time for to be sent. The construction of the bed is flimsy. You cannot move it around easily as it is essentially in parts that will disconnect. It is poorly finished, with splinters of wood poking out. There were no pilot holes drilled for the slats, all of the 48 screws must be screwed in by hand or you'll invalidate the guarantee. Not worth what I paid in the slightest.

Terrible buy
We bought 2 of these beds, no notice of delivery, just arrived, both were terrible quality, goods arrived damaged, headboard warped, multiple emails to enable a return and still awaiting refund

Not worth the buy
Bought for my teen daughter. It's way too flimsy. The headboard is pointless being as thin as cardboard and so low it doesnt provide any kind of support.

Wooden slat broken after 2 weeks

Well made
Would be perfect but butterfly wing nuts do not go down 4or 5 threads on bolt. Just two,and rattles with gap. If you try to turn using wood frame to hold wing nut,it rips into wood. Changed all wing nuts for nut and bolts . That part is bad design,but bed and mattress very good.

Solid bed frame that looks great
Bought his for my daughter and the look and quality is great. The assembly definitely needs at least two people. We also found an issue with the sunken nuts - the wood near it is very thin and unfortunately this caused some damage when we tried to screw together. Nothing that some word glue can't sort!
