Good All Rounder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So even though I missed out on reviewing the monitor above this being the Sony Inzone M9 III, this 2nd integration below it does pretty well. 4k monitors have come a long way from when they were first introduced. With sony from the packaging to the product you can never go wrong there, everything is always well thought out. The product it’s self, 27inches is a sweet spot for the everyday gamer and being 4k serves great if you want to watch anything. Obviously, it’s not an IPS so do take that in mind if you are wanting that feature. In perfect honestly, if they were able to make a 2k monitor and up the hertz that would be great for this LED screen monitor. Because, I feel if consumers are wanting to go 4k most will buy a screen with IPS. Whereas with what I’ve mentioned you can get the best of gaming with a better hertz screen and better resolution at 2k.

Perfect for gaming and other applications too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this monitor to use primarily with my PlayStation 5. The monitor itself at 27 inches is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. The monitor comes with a stand which extends to Multiple heights which will suit most applications. Putting the monitor together was easy as the stand clips on the rear of the monitor with ease. There are 2 HDMI inputs which is handy as I can add another device. Both automatically select themselves once the device is on making for ease of use. I have been connecting this to my laptop when working at home recently too. Picture quality is superb when using a 4K enabled device and using a media player, films TV and live sports are also superb in HD and non 4K formats. The monitor comes with an inbuilt speaker which is not the best but will be adequate for most gamers and users alike. There is a wide range of settings which are controlled easily by a handy joystick which makes navigating them a lot easier than buttons which are found on other similar monitors of the same type. Im loving the stylish design with a thin outer bezel maximising the screen to the edge of the monitor. I have been using this monitor for 2 weeks now and have not regretted my purchase. It ticks all the boxes for what a wanted for a gaming monitor.

Visually Stunning!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box, the monitor is very easy to assemble and requires no tools to put it together. It fits on my gaming desk and takes up less room than my previous monitor, even though they were the same size. It has a very small footprint and the unit can be adjusted in any direction with a matter of ease. I have hooked this monitor up to my PC and also my PS5. My previous monitor was running at 60 Hz and I have found this new monitor running at 160 Hz is a massive improvement on my gameplay, it is so much smoother and the colours are outstanding. visually it makes the gameplay much more vibrant which is a huge improvement. The increase in hertz makes gameplay much more smooth than before, instantly the first swipe of my cursor felt nicer and smoother. It’s nice to have the option to have audio as not all gaming monitors come with speakers, my previous one didn’t and made it difficult to watch things and gives me a break from the headset on different occasions. It feels a very premium product and is very well built. Overall I would 100% recommend this monitor to any serious gamer!

Simple, Subtle, SONY!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly and Set Up: The monitor is as easy to set up as you can get. The bracket clicks into the base, with a single screw to be inserted with its own turn-base latch. Then the bracket simply clicks into the back of the monitor, with a release button at the bottom if you need to remove it. I did find the bracket sits a little too close to the ports, which caused me a little frustration when trying to insert my HDMI cable. Appearance: The monitor doesn't look like much, but it has a very simple and sophisticated aura by design. I do appreciate the circular base. Many other bases take up too much space, but this one is perfect. The base also provides a 360-degree platform. This feature is perfect! There have been countless times when gaming where I realize I'm slouching and could do with rotating the base. This brings so much more comfort to gaming with nothing more than a finger press. This now brings me to talk about the bracket. The bracket can be used to adjust the height as well as adding tilt (only to be tilted upwards). The adjustment height is great and can be changed with very little pressure. However, I'm left scratching my head a little on why the bracket allows upward tilt but not downward. So far, the tilt has only come in handy when accessing the ports. I think for design, Sony has done a fantastic job of keeping a minimal footprint on desk space with no compromise to adjustable functionality. Specs and how they work in real-time: The specs on the panel itself are very impressive. The use of the Full Array for dark in-game environments is hyper realistic with gripping immersion. It can be a little too dark at times for first-person shooters, so there will have to be tinkering with the HDR settings, but nothing that can't be controlled. Moving my gaming setup from a 55" OLED to the Inzone M9 II has improved massively, especially with the ghosting. The motion smoothness is slick and clean looking and contrasts well with the flagship color accuracy with little compromise to image quality when gaming. PlayStation sync: When syncing a PlayStation to a new display, it will trigger a display set up screen anyway for any fine-tune adjustments, usually HDR tone mapping. As long as the monitor has all your relevant settings turned on, the PlayStation sync feature will take care of transferring the picture quality. There was a moment where I was confused when the monitor was displaying in 60hz on the PlayStation settings, although it says the relationship from PlayStation to monitor should output 120hz. I soon found out this is due to the sync feature and not an issue with the quality of my HDMI cable. You'll see the 120hz output being shown when playing a game in 120hz. The game I used to get the best out of the monitor was Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and I was blown away. I had the game's visual setting on fidelity, which means I'll be playing with a targeted frame rate of 30fps (30hz) and ray tracing. There is an additional setting that allows for an uncapped frame rate. While playing the game very casually and getting into combat scenarios and main story set pieces, I noticed the frame rate didn't really dip below 70 Hz. Settings: The built-in settings menu on the Inzone M9 II is easily accessed by simply pressing the joystick-looking button on the back right of the monitor. This will then present you with a series of options. I won't be going through all of them as they should be universally similar to a TV or other monitor. However, on top of the settings menu is an overview of your output, displaying the following: HDMI output, resolution, refresh rate, HDR, and finally picture preset mode. Throughout use, you will begin to quickly learn these change on the fly depending on your viewed content and come in very handy when micro-managing your display and picture presets. Overall opinion: I am extremely impressed by the quality the Sony Inzone M9 II has brought to my gaming setup, and I have yet to get the best out of it. Being a console gamer, I'm locked at 120 Hz, with the monitor capabilities going as high as 160 Hz. I'm still breaking it in and understanding its presets and sync modes, so I'm looking forward to seeing what more it can offer me. The only hang-ups I have had are that I'm a little disappointed that the monitor didn't come with a high-speed HDMI cable as a little extra. Also, the output locations on the bottom monitor are l, and space-saving monitor.

Excellent screen for any game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed at how light the screen and stand are. The stand is really good, and it’s easy to raise and lower, tilt , and rotate the screen. The screen itself is very colourful, with excellent contrast. When playing games in HDR, it really excelled, with no problems at higher frame rates. The only downside is the large power supply, and the fiddly small joystick button on the back for changing screen option.
