About this product
The Farnham Double Side Lift TV Ottoman Bed provides hidden storage and a built-in TV compartment for your bedroom without taking up extra floor space. It's a double bedframe with a winged headboard upholstered in navy velvet, designed to accommodate everyday viewing and keep bedding or seasonal items tucked away. The TV rises from a concealed compartment with a remote control, ready to watch from the comfort of your bed. The side lift ottoman opens to reveal underbed storage large enough for duvets, blankets or anything you want to keep out of sight.
The velvet upholstery covers the frame and provides a soft texture that handles everyday contact. The winged headboard adds support for sitting up in bed. The bed sits 32cm high at the siderail with 3cm space beneath for airflow and cleaning. The ottoman mechanism lifts from the side, giving access to storage while keeping the room clear of extra furniture. Self-assembly required with two people recommended. Obsessed with this bed
I honestly thought this was a bit of a ridiculous purchase (who needs a tv in their bed??) But I am absolutely obsessed! I love being able to hide the tv away, it completely opens up the room. The upholstery is lovely and looks more expensive than it is. I managed to put it together on my own, but it would definitely be easier with two people. If you have this on your wish list just go for it!

Fantastic bed, easy to assemble and looks fantastic. Beautiful deep blue colour, with plenty of storage and the built in TV is easy to operate. Would highly recommend this bed!

Really good quality for the money
I bought this quite some time ago and had to wait around 6 weeks for delivery and in that time the price of the bed was reduced by 20% I rang Argos to see what could be done and they immediately gave me a refund of the 20%. A friend put it together for me it took quite a while but it was pretty straightforward and I am really delighted with it. It makes such a difference to my room very smart colour and so nice to have a TV at the foot of the bed when I want it

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Farnham Kingsize Side Lift TV Ottoman Bed - Navy minimum mattress weight should be 20kg and the maximum is 50kg. This is the same for the Double and the Superking version as well.
The ease of lifting will depend on the mattress weight however the mechanism does help.

The height of the footboard is 845mm. All bed sizes have the same height footboard.

Having checked the instructions, the maximum TV dimensions that will fit the bed are: W98 x H57 x D8cm.
The Samsung 43 inch UE43U7000FK measures H55.88, W95.78, D7.63cm. The TV would be compatible.
