Eay to use
Purchased to replace an older version that had broken. Easy to use. Only downside is there is no cable storage

Fantastic and powerful enough
Exactly what we needed and as described.

Very decent
Five star bit of kit. Was going to buy the cheaper model, but was out of stock. This thing romps through thick vegetation. Only slight drawback is that it is difficult to pull the cord through the holes when it needs doing.

Great Strimmer
Bought a week ago when old one died, great strimmer, cut better than the old one. Only downside is it is a little heavier than other but definitely manageable

Scary
I bought this 2 days ago, halfway through using in a very small garden it started hissing and smoking. Gave me such a fright. Went back the following day and got a refund.

Good product
Bought this at the weekend. Really easy to use although I’m still getting used to the different settings. I wanted something that was lightweight but did the job and this is it. It was a faff putting on the guard and a 2 minute job took about 20 because the screw holes don’t quite line up. But I managed it. I don’t know how long it will last but it’s on the cheaper end of the scale so I didn’t expect longevity.

Rubbish
Out the box the guard screws don’t line up and the auto feed fell apart Taking it back tomorrow

Don’t buy
First use I spent most of the time sorting the cord out the cable auto reel was letting out to much can only use on one side instead of two truth be told I’m gonna chuck it away waste of money

A bit early to say...
As usual with products recently purchased, the vendor almost has to know "How things are" a day or two after purchase. I understand why they need to review their level of service, which in this case was good. As for the product itself, I have barely had time to take it out of it's packaging to use it. It does appear to be of reasonable quality, but as the old saying goes "The proof of the pudding is in the eating"

Hello Stephen,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the McGregor 25cm Corded Grass Trimmer - 350W: ''With regards size garden it can be used within any size garden if you can get power to the trimmer. The trimmer has a long 8m power lead and the use of a suitable extension lead will allow a further reach. Rather than the size garden, the important consideration is what is to be cut. 350W is perfect for trimming grass and weeds, if the garden includes nettles / brambles etc, it is not suitable for this. The spool can be rewound with 1.6mm nylon line or replacement spools are available.''
Thank you for using Q and A.
Instructions clearly say that you can buy brand new spools or refill the spool that is there. Itll need to be wound with 2 x 4.3m of 1.6mm strimmer line per spindle hope that helps
