Great Travel Shaver
I bought this for travelling and as I already own a 3 head Philips rechargeable, it made perfect sense. My 1st trial with it was pretty good although not as close as I'd like but with practice I'm sure it'll do the job. Lightweight and easy to pack and well shaped for comfortable use. As a battery operated item there's no charge cables to worry about. Overall delighted.

Excellent Value for Money Efficient Shaver
These Shavers are excellent - both in usage and value for money. This one will be my fifth since 2012 (one of which bought for my son when he started shaving...). Having been a purely wet shaver before (first one bought for convenience due to sleeping away from home on a regular basis), I am now - and have been for years - exclusively a Philips Dry Electric Shaver... This is not due to laziness - purely close shaving results. They are (by comparison), a much more economical way to shave - especially if you use rechargeable batteries as do I, they are hardly expensive even now (my first was £10). Also, by comparison with 3 head shavers (Phillips or other) - this particular 2 head design gets efficiently into all the smaller nooks and crannies on one's face, they are small and easy to hold - very easy to clean as well. All in all - an outstanding, value for money, daily and / or Travel shaver - well proven over 14 years of 'trials' - Excellent. (& no - I don't work for Phillips...)

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Philips PQ206/18 Dry Electric Shaver 443/6759: This device can only be used Cordless with 2AA batteries. On the Service manual it states 2 x AA LR6 battery. LR6 batteries come in both rechargeable and none rechargeable variants. So yes rechargeable batteries can be used.
