Very easy to use, soup trns out better than expect
Better than expected soup maker, just a bit of a faff to clean. The sauté function heats up extremely quickly, even using butter & oil as advised there is still some burn marks on the base that need to be cleaned off. We have found using Hob Cleaner Cream & kitchen paper gives the best result, providing you are not too precious about your finger nails. Using this device is a shared task in our house, my wife uses it & I clean it :). In spite of this we still give it 5 stars as the end product of the soup is very quick & easy.

Hi Marymo,
Yes, you can make stew in the Morphy Richards Sauté and Soup Maker.
Thank you for using Q&A
If theyre saying you get a 2 year warranty that should stick otherwise you should be told you have the option to take a extra 12 months at an extra cost which basically its only one anyway and should state this on their adverts and not tell the customer they have it otherwise in my eyes they should pay for the extra 12 months typical insurance scam and bad publicity for Argos
Please dont accept this. Your statutory rights protect you, the length of warranty is meaningless, the product should be of merchantable quality - breaking down after a year is not good enough. I would pursue a refund or replacement or proceed to small claims court. The process is much easier than you would think.
Your appliance comes with a standard one-year warranty, which is covered by the retailer from the date of purchase for the first year. Additionally, we offer an extended warranty option, which is subject to registration. It's important to note that if the product is not registered within 28 days of purchase, in accordance with the terms and conditions, it is not covered.
The full terms of the warranty can be found on the information booklet provided with your Soup Maker at the time of your purchase.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Hi there
Hi there, the soup should be hot when it has finished the cycle, if this is not the case then you would need to check your settings are correct.
