This McGregor 18V 23cm grass trimmer is ideal for cutting fine to coarse grass - anywhere. You can change the angle of the cutting head to enable you to edge your lawn, trim your grass and reach under objects such as benches and trampolines. The flower guard allows you to cut right up to the edge of your garden while protecting your flowers and plants. This grass trimmer has been designed with comfort in mind, featuring an adjustable front handle and telescopic shaft to adjust the trimmer to suit your height.

Very weak which causes a struggle
Unfortunately, this trimmer is very weak, the line keeps snapping, not sure how long the line will last. Despite having the option to extend the length of the trimmer, it is still quite short when fully extended. I wish I could return it and never in different trimmer but it has already been used.

You need a 1.5mm trimmer wire. Or Google model number MCT1825 to find replacement spools. Do not use Mow spares i rang them and the guy hung up when he tried to charge me 10 for 1 spool and i asked what size i needed so I could find cheaper.bHe didnt realise hed gave me the heads up by using the model number. I have now ordered 3 from amazon. Go there and add the model number. Tell everyone as finding replacement spools for these makes is ridiculous. I wont be buying mcgregor again.

No, we would not recommend using genuine Makita batteries. This trimmer uses a specific McGregor 18V lithium-ion battery (model 0240126002), and there is no official support for Makita battery use. Using non-compatible batteries may damage the tool or void the warranty.
