Under unit Rear Vented Cooker Hood,
Had big difficulty sourcing a cooker hood with a rear vent as the old one vented straight out to the air, I did not wish to seal the hole and cut another. Then found this unit. The unit looks good works well and was easy to fit. One problem was some very sharp edges on the metal work. Good extraction rate and fairly quite compared to last unit.

Basic but good
Only just had this appliance fitted today, to replace a very old non-functioning hood of a different brand. It isn't as quiet as many other more higher spec cooker hood extractors, however for the price paid it seems good, It fits perfectly into the gap left by the previous appliance and is no noisier than that. Indeed the grease filters are much easier to remove. My only disappointment is that the carbon filter necessary for a recirculating mode (which ours is), appears to have non-recyclabale parts ie plastic joined to the carbon part. I will have to check this though. Overall, very pleased.

So far so good, really good at extraction to outside, only really need setting 1. Much more powerful than the old one even when that was new. Had to buy a reducer adaptor to reduce outlet pipe diameter to fit standard UK trunking, no real issue £2 at usual DIY outlets.

The wall must be level, vertical and adequately load-bearing.
The depth of the bore holes must be the same length as the screws. The wall plugs must have a secure grip.
The enclosed screws and wall plugs are suitable for solid brickwork. Suitable fasteners must be used for other structures (e.g. plasterboard, porous concrete, poroton bricks).
The max. weight of the extractor hood is 12 kg.
