I have only just purchased but I must say I'm impressed, it was easy to put up and install. Tge solar panel works really Way avoiding having to take it down to charge it, also impressed with the angles that I can get, wider than I thought, the quality is telly good and can even get it in colour during night, good price and quality, easy to access on my phone, having the WI-FI option ment no plug wires hanging about

Very pleased with the product does what I intended to.i advise also getting an SD card. Image quality is good for day and night and it detects movement and people. Follow the instructions on the package. It does need to be charged before use.

Works but one function absent
Does the job. Easy to fit and easy to connect. Solar power saves trailing wires. Would have been good it it highlighted that it doesn't do continuous record, only even recording. Although that will probably suffice for security

Yes, the Tapo app is completely free to download and use. We only require a subscription for the Tapo Care cloud service, primarily for storing camera detection videos. Of course, you can also choose to purchase an SD card for storage yourself.

The supplier has advised the following for the Tapo C410 KIT 2K Solar Powered Outdoor Security Camera Kit:
"Yes, you can use your Tapo camera with this setup! Most Tapo cameras do not support direct SIM card insertion, but they can connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network provided by your 4G mobile broadband router or extender.
Here's what you need to ensure:
• Your 4G router/extender provides a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (which it does based on your description)
• The Wi-Fi network uses WPA/WPA2-PSK encryption (most routers use this by default)
• Your internet connection has at least 3 Mbps upload speed in the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
• On average, each camera should not exceed 5 Mbps upload bandwidth
Please note that while this setup will work, mobile data connections may be less stable than regular broadband Wi-Fi, which could occasionally affect your camera's performance. However, as long as your 4G connection is stable and meets the speed requirements, your Tapo camera should work fine."

For the C410, it can only connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network. It cannot connect directly to 4G cellular data.
