Design fault- two replacements in a year
Poor vacuum- we bought the first one in December 2024 and the battery faulted (overheating and cutting out) by August 2025. We were sent a replacement under warranty and by December 2025 the replacement is now doing exactly the same thing. Cannot use it on anything other than the lowest (worst) setting. Do not recommend.

This hoover started out really well but batteries now not lasting very long and the roller stops when trying to hoover my rugs, I have to stand it up, turn it off, put it back on and more or less glide it over the rugs, had not realised it only works on short pile rugs I don’t think it is even a year old - very disappointing I was so happy when I 1st used and it did work on my rug then

Worst nightmare
I cannot believe that this hoover has a such high reviews. I’ve bought it around 2 years ago. Since beginning I had an issues with the battery, but never complained as had a small flat at the time, so for 10/15 minutes of hoovering was fine. The worst thing in the world is the hoover floor head with a brush. The small debrises just cumulate in there, and as soon as I stop the hoovering and put the hoover straight, they are fall back on the floor. Cleaning the whole compartments not helping, as the rubbish just stays in the corners of the floor head. I think someone who designed it, didn’t really think that through, but still superseded that no one noticed that “error” in the trail tests. Had different, much cheaper cordless hoovers in my life, and never had a problems like with this one.

Poor hair pick up
I bought this a while ago it does not pick up hair easily you have to go really slowly over the hair, and it gave no warning the filter needed cleaning. Its a pain to dismantle for proper cleaning if you have issues with your hands, like a touch of arthritis. So no I do not recommend

Was excited but now disappointed
I bought my new shark cordless hoover in store last week. Was soo excited but now dissapointed. Battery doesnt last as long as its ment to. When hoovering it doesnt collect where its ment to. Spits back out so it doesnt look like anythings been hoovered

Good for small home
Bought this a couple of months ago. It is okay for picking up dog hair, it doesn't get tangled on the brushes. However, I find the battery doesn't last long (I can only do downstairs or upstairs on one charge and it takes awhile to charge) and the dust collection bin is very small, needing to be emptied multiple times. I also find it have to use the button to force it to use full suction rather than sensing it as it misses bits otherwise I have a Labrador, so she doesn't moult that much

The roller bar cannot be completely turned off on this model. We do not offer any model with a brush roll that can stop spinning entirely while it is in use. However, we do have vacuums with hard-floor settings that slow the brush roll to prevent damage to delicate carpet fabrics.

Why would a Shark expert say theres no difference between the two models, other than colour? Why would they be selling two models in that case, at different price points? That answer is incorrect!
I believe the main difference is that the T model has a motorised pet tool included, hence the higher price point.

There are three methods available for charging the battery of this unit. To charge the battery within the handheld vacuum, connect the charger to a wall outlet and then plug it into the port located under the handle. You may also activate storage mode by pressing the Flexology Wand Unlock Latch and folding the vacuum forward until the wand clicks into a locked position. Afterward, connect the charger to the charging port on the handheld vacuum. Another method involves pressing and holding the Battery Release Button to remove the battery. Once the battery is out, plug the charger into its charging port. To reinstall the battery, slide it back into the slot at the rear of the handheld vacuum until it clicks securely.

Having checked I can see the main differences are that the IZ400UKT has Clean Sense IQ, Flexology wand and a quicker charge time compared to the IZ300UKT.
