Not functional
Nobody mentioned in comments that we have to keep pushing the bottom until ice cream gets ready it doesn’t work like one/off modes like other appliances, or my item was broken!!

Great item
I bought this because my grandson eats lots of ice cream. It has saved me lots of money and the ice cream is great I made basic vanilla ice cream then just added chopped up fruit near end of program. Strawberry ice cream is lovely 🤩

Difficult to get right
Although now working fine, it took a long time to perfect the art of ice cream making, whether it’s any simpler with more expensive ice cream makers I do not know

Hello Mo,
The supplier has advised the following for the Magimix 1.1 Le Glacier Ice Cream Maker:
“ I can confirm that it does not, as it doesn't need one.
It needs to churn until the ice cream is ready, which usually takes 20 to 40 minutes dependent on factors such as the start temperature of whatever commodity is being made. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Evie,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Magimix 1.1 Le Glacier Ice Cream Maker 11047: This is not something that has been tested.
Whilst making the point that it would not do the ice cream maker any harm, it is not likely it would turn flavoured milk into an ice cream consistency.
It may have the propensity to create something more like the consistency of a sorbet.
It would turn custard into an ice cream consistency, but believe flavoured milk would be too “watery”
Thank you for using Q & A.

As long as your chosen ice cream is made according to the recipe instructions, it will keep in your freezer for more than long enough BUT, be aware, once defrosted, it will have to be consumed promptly. Best to cut the required amount and replace what's left back in the freezer.
As long as you've made your desired ice cream according to the recipe instructions, you won't poison yourself or anyone else no matter how long you keep it in the freezer but be aware, if you allowed it to defrost, don't refeeze it.
Hi Bugsy,
Providing the ice cream made by the Magimix 1.1 Le Glacier Ice Cream Maker 11047 is correctly frozen in the freezer, it can be kept as long as standard ice cream.
Thank you for using Q&A.
