Little black wooden blinds
I bought one a couple of years ago, and the pieces to cover the mechanism is now just a stick on with Velcro. Keeps falling of.

Nice blinds but damaged
I bought these a few weeks ago. They look relly good but unfortunately discovered that one of the blins slats was damaged once we had incstalled them. It was going to be too much of a hassle to dismantle them. Argos gavme a £12 discount which seemed reasonable. Also, the pelmet looks good but is attached by to pieces of velcro and has fallen down once already. They are nice blinds but there seem to be some issues with quality control.

Perfect fit for my windows. No cutting to size!
The only blind I could find that would fit my windows. Relatively easy to install although it has a tendency to come undone and fall apart if you're not careful or quick. Good value for money though.

“ Yes, it is necessary to allow room for the brackets. Recommended allowance is 0.5 - 1.0 cm each sides. For example, this 85x130cm blind width is 85 cm. The distance between far ends of the two brackets is recommended between 86 - 87 cm. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised Little Black Book 50mm Venetian Blind - White:
The fixing includes 3 brackets, one left bracket, one right bracket and one centre bracket. Below are size of the brackets.
Left & right bracket: size L 65mm x W 25mm x H 50mm
Centre bracket: size L 55mm x W 46mm x H 47mm
The brackets can be either wall mount or ceiling mount.

The corner brackets are metal 5 sided, off white, with the front face hinged to allow access of the blind. If the length of the blind requires it there is a c shaped bracket to be fitted in the middle to take the weight. They are about 2mm thick and metal, there are many holes on the faces to allow fitment of the brackets to the window itself or the walls etc.
