Smart, Powerful & Brilliant for Pet Owners
I’ve been using the Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner IP3251UKT for a few weeks now and have been really impressed with it. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the charging/emptying base unit is neat and compact, not overly wide, so it doesn’t take up too much valuable floor space. The vacuum itself is very well balanced, making it comfortable to handle, and the weight is light enough for prolonged cleaning without becoming tiring. The PowerDetect function works brilliantly. Our home has a mix of flooring that changes constantly between hard floors, rugs, carpets and lots of edges and corners. The vacuum automatically detects the surface type and adjusts suction power and brush speed accordingly, which works seamlessly. We also have two dogs, so pet hair is a constant battle! When the vacuum detects heavier areas of pet hair, it automatically boosts power again to tackle it, and it does a fantastic job of picking everything up, really impressive. One of the standout features is the Clean & Empty base. It’s great to simply dock the vacuum after use and have it automatically empty itself into the larger base unit. We previously had a cordless vacuum that needed emptying by hand constantly, then moved to a larger corded vacuum with a much bigger capacity that only needed emptying around once a week. What’s brilliant about this unit is that you get the convenience and flexibility of a cordless vacuum, but only need to empty the main base unit about as often as we used to empty the larger corded machine. Overall, this is a powerful, intelligent and very user-friendly vacuum that performs brilliantly across mixed flooring and pet households. Highly recommended.

Cordless Powerdetect
Shark power detect well what can i say, i struggle to not have some negativity with products but this hoover has been amazing the last few weeks easily the best cordless I've ever used. Picks up items and bits great, powers good, you can only used it in eco mode going over mats and rugs due to having to much power to be honest. I bought the clean and empty so it has its own charge station and wouldn't of bought the cheaper stand alone version because you need the storage stand to go with it. i would recommend it highly and works perfect for my needs.

Disappointing
Very disappointed the suction is up and down and the lights have a mind of their own. When discharging the hoover it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.There was no stand supplied for the spare attachments and the hoover is very hard to use on carpets i have to drag it across mine..very disappointing

Great upgrade from dyson
Great vacuum, we have upgraded from older dyson, it's great overall. There are few issues like : 1) still would love to be able to easier empty the vacuum itself - for example if i'm upstairs and don't fancy going up&down the stairs to empty it so i can continues cleaning. 2) auto emptying base is still NO match agains husky hair ;) -> don't get me wrong it survived for about 30days, but yesterday didin't want to auto empty vacuum so i had a look and the base was cloged with pet hairs - which meant it didn't work - but also it wasn't full so it wasn't lighting the "bin full" light. 3) very annoing that the cleaning head so easily is locking back in lock/store position BUT.... it's still great vacuum - if itthose 3 points, or at least point 1 were solved - it would be perfect

Empty the dock dust bin when the dust bin full indicator light comes on. To remove the bin, lift it out by the handle. To empty the bin, hold it over the trash and press the release button on the side. The bottom will open to release the debris.
