RH compact classic breadmaker.
I have used this several times now and th bread comes out perfect. The large loaf on setting 1 was very heavy and solid, setting 8 for sandwiches is much lighter. The lid feels loose on its hinges, not the best quality for RH, hence the 4/5 stars.

Easy to use
I have been using the bread maker at least once per week since bringing it home. It is easy to use and makes consistent loaves. The delay feature is also very useful.

A little disappointed
I bought this machine as it did two sizes. I was disappointed that the instruction leaflet was very sparse to say the least. The crust was ok, the consistency was not wonderful either or the texture. Maybe it will improve with time. If you have never had a bread machine I would recommend Lakeland.

I bought this one month ago and it is already underused. From the machine recipes the bread id Heavy and Dense. The crust though looking well done is Not crispy. Previous reviews for this machine in my opion are Bogus

I bought this to replace my existing russell hobbs breadmaker purchased about 25 years ago. I was a little worried at first because the pan is a slightly different shape, higher and not as long. However it bases bread beautifully, much more crisp than my last one. I'm very happy with it. I make my own mixture up of white, wholemeal, and either rye or malted flour .I have made a lovely cake as well.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Russell Hobbs Compact Classics Breadmaker 27260.
Although we don’t provide a specific ciabatta recipe for ciabatta, the machine is capable of making many different dough types. As long as you use a suitable ciabatta dough recipe and select the appropriate dough or basic bread setting, you should be able to prepare ciabatta dough in this breadmaker.

The Breadmaker can make Gluten Free bread. Please check out the reviews to see how others have found the Breadmaker, as it may be trial and error to get the ingredients and timings right. The recipe showing in the instruction booklet does include eggs.
