About this product
This durable, robust hose is an essential for any garden. The 15m hose comes complete with all the connectors you need to start watering. The hose is made to a high standard with three layers for extra strength with an internal opaque layer to prevent algae growth. The fitting set consists of a spray nozzle, garden tap adaptors (for both half inch and three-quarter inch taps), universal and water stop connectors. This hose and its fittings are compatible with all other major watering brands including Hozelock, Gardena and Karcher.
The water stop connector prevents you wasting water by only allowing water through once the hose is connected to a sprinkler, nozzle or pressure washer.
It can be easily stored on a hose reel (not supplied) and connected to other hoses with the supplied connectors. Built to last, this McGregor hose comes complete with a 2-year guarantee.
To maximise the life of any garden hose, we recommend you disconnect your hose from the water supply when not in use, store it on a reel (not supplied) and store out of direct sunlight. If frost is expected, we recommend storing the hose in a shed or garage.

McGregor hose pipe with attachments-Definitely rec
I bought a McGregor hose pipe with attachments also from Argos and it fits my outside tap and pressure washer so it all works like a dream. The brand is one I have trusted before and the little machine I got to use the hose with is also fab! Very powerful for its size and great for jet washing my block paving and my car. (You need a hose to use the jet wash). Definitely recommend it.

The McGregor Reinforced Hose Set - 15m is compatible with JML Starlyf Power Pressure Washer - 75W. The Starlyf can also connect your regular garden hose directly to your Starlyf Power Washer.
The McGregor Reinforced Hose fitting set consists of a spray nozzle, garden tap adaptors (for both half inch and three-quarter inch taps), universal and water stop connectors.

Having looked into this, hoses can kink/twist if coiled or left in a bent position when storing. Also if a hose is turned or twisted when in use, this can create kinks.

It is likely that you are attaching to a ridged spout of the tap, this unscrews allowing other fittings to be attached or the bit you are trying to screw to it has a separate part already screwed into it which comes undone

The Hose Set includes tap connectors designed to fit standard UK outdoor taps (usually 1/2" or 3/4" BSP). If neither connector fits your new tap, it’s likely that your tap has a non-standard size or shape. In this case, we recommend using a universal tap connector, which can adjust to fit a wider range of tap styles using a clamp or rubber seal. Once fitted, the hose can be securely attached and used as a delivery hose — connecting your water tap to a pressure washer or sprinkler system.

The previous answer is incorrect. To attach the pipe to another one you will need another female connector and a double male one. I bought this hose today and was only able to connect it to the tap and the spray not my existing hose which is why I bought it
